If you are planning to visit Puri then your trip is incomplete without visiting the temples of Puri. This place has some of the best temples which have spiritual and historical value. For many people it is one of the four dhams and therefore, holds extra importance. Apart from temples, tourists can enjoy other attractions of this place also. Some of the temples that are recommended to visit in Puri are:

Jagannath Temple
The first and most important tourist attractions of Puri are Jagannath temple. It was built by Chodaganaga Deva in 12th century and is also considered as one of the oldest monuments of India. During the month of June and July special Rath Yatra is organized to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. Every year millions of pilgrimages visit this temple to pay homage to Lord Shiva.

Gundicha Ghar Temple
Gundicha is yet another famous temple in Puri. This temple is located at the other end of Puri temple and it also holds equal spiritual value for the pilgrimages.
Loknath Temple

Another famous temple that is a huge craze among the tourists is Loknath Temple. This temple is also known as the Shiva temple of the region.
Ardhasani Temple
This temple is located at the distance of 3 kilometers from the very famous Jagannath temple. The perfect time to visit this temple is at the time of Rath Yatra. In Hindu mythology this temple has a great significance. 
Jagannath Ballav Math
This famous math is generally known as a monastery, which signifies that the place has been put up to Ray Ramananda. This monastery has beautiful garden that add more charm and beauty to this place.

Konark Temple or Sun Temple

The very famous Konrak Temple was built by King Narasimha in 13th century. This Konrak temple is popular for its ravishing and amazing architectural beauty, which is displayed on each stone of the temple. Tourists always make sure to visit this temple because to see its enchanting beauty and lavishness.
Bhubaneswar
If you are visiting Puri to see some of the amazing temples there then it is quite obvious that you cannot miss the capital of Orrisa, Bhubaneswar. There are some of the enormous temples that hold religious value. Temples like Lingaraj, Rajrani temple, Mukteswar temple are some of the best temple. In addition, there are some other tourists attraction spots that can make your trip more enjoyable.

  6. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-maintained. The staffs were well-behaved.Nearest to the beach. You can leave your sleepers in the hotel and move to the beach.
