Puri has always been my
best-loved place and it became all the more fascinating since i started staying
at Victoria Club Hotel situated at the 'HEART of PURI'. The majestic grandeur
of this hotel pleases each and every visitor...like every time, this time also
we stayed at this 'abode of magnificence'...few words can just not describe
Victoria Club Hotel...Puri is incomplete without three things i.e. The
Jagannath Temple, The Sea Beach, and last but not the least Victoria Club
Hotel..
I booked an AC room...and the room provided me
with the ultimate comfort. Well the ultimate comfort comes only when there is a
perceptive service. It is very correctly said that "Heritage is our Pride,
Service is our Tradition". Service is indeed the tradition of Victoria
Club Hotel. And maybe that what makes it the most benevolent hotel of Puri. Your needs are just a call away...you make a
call and you get what you want right in your room. Victoria Club Hotel is the
most appropriate place to luxuriate. The rooms are well-decorated with all
sorts of comfort. The suites will provide you with a mini-fridge. The rooms
have fully-glassed windows through which you can enjoy the sea just from your
bed..and if you want to lift yourself from the bed and go to the balcony to
enjoy your evening tea you'll get a crystal clear view of the green lawns
within the premises, the black-pitched road, the yellow beach and the sea...it
is indeed a 'home away from home'...there are television sets in every room
providing you all the channels you want. So you can relish your favorite daily
soap at the same time you can enjoy the beauty of the Bay of Bengal. One can
get a clear view of the breath-taking Bay of Bengal from each and every room of
Victoria Club Hotel.
Puri is well known for its very
famous Odiya Cuisine, but we Bengalis can't think of food without 'macher jhol'
and 'bhaat'..Yes you will be very happy to know that Victoria Club Hotel serves
the best food in Puri. The menu is not confined only within Bengali cuisine. One
can explore a wide range of delectable dishes across the world..From Luchi to
Sizzlers..You get everything under one roof..Few must-have dishes are Tandoori
Chicken, Au-Gratin and yes the Vegetarian-Pulao. The menu is not a
disappointment to a veggie-eater also because Victoria also serves wide range
of vegetarian dishes which are as delicious as the non-vegetarian dishes. People
with a sweet-tooth must try the Cream Caramel Pudding. The sweet and creaminess
will make you fall in love with it and I'm sure you will not regret after
tasting it.
The day to bid adieu had arrived had to say
bye to everyone with soiled eyes and a heavy heart...but yes I was carrying a
lot of unforgettable and merry memories with me that will keep me going for
another few months and then I'll b back again to experience another wonderful
stay in this regal hotel...Well whatever I say about this hotel is not enough. The
best thing is that each stay is better than the previous one...Magnificence at
its best!!!
